Dear Larry,

The decision to CHOOSE A Connecticut town in which I would eventually stake my livelihood and build my place of business was not an easy one.  after much deliberation and family discussion, I settled on Plainville, CT.  Over the course of the last two and one half years I have watched in delight as the community embraced my dedication to hard WORK AND MORE importantly the delicious food offered by Scooters Grille.  It gave me tremendous pride to watch my dreams of a successful business realized in a town that welcomed our effort with open arms.  In stark contrast On October 14, 2008, I watched with horror as the business I, along with the staff of Scooters Grille, worked so hard to build fall victim to tragic misfortune.  The heroic efforts of the men and women of the Plainville Fire brigade offered me much needed solace in a time of despair.  More over the outpouring of support offered by the community strengthened my conviction that the town I chose two and one half years ago was indeed the right one.  It is with a heavy and indebted heart that I offer my sincere thanks to the fire department and community of Plainville Connecticut.

Respectfully yours,

Scott A. McDonald
